The Tomato Art Fest and Tomato 5k in East Nashville is on Saturday August 11, 2012. The Tomato Art Fest will take place in and around Five Points at 10th and Woodland. Most stores will have festive happenings all day like tomato treat the The Turnip Truck and tomatoes and wine at Rumours East.

• Noon – Giant Ice Cream Sundae Extravaganza – Pied Piper Creamery

• 1:00pm to 2:00pm — Beautiful Tomato Contest – Alegria

• 2:00pm – Recipe Contest – Margot Cafe

• 2:00pm to 3:00pm – Red Head Competition – The Clearview Stage (in the parking lot behind Margot Cafe)

• 3:00pm – Bloody Mary Competition – 3 Crow Bar

• 4:00pm to 5:00pm – All East Nashville Fashion Show – The Clearview Stage (in the parking lot behind Margot Cafe)

• 5:00pm – Wet Burrito Contest – Nuvo Burrito
